What the...???

About two weeks ago, The Swede answered the phone. It was our bank calling to inform us that our debit card had some unusual transactions on it. Sharp bank to notice that we're not users of Netflix nor Blockbuster.com and yet had charges on our card to both of these sites. They immediately took off the charges, cancelled our cards and issued us new ones.

Two days ago, two DVDs showed up in our mailbox, addressed to me with the return address labeled GGW. (Think about it, spring break, girls, drinking, ....) Yup, two GGW DVDs...addressed to me. WTF??

Is it that the thief took the time to register at these sites with our card info but didn't think to replace our address with their own?

And, seriously, some loser steals our info and all they do is purchase two DVDs?

Help me figure out what happened here.

(And, no, it wasn't The Swede.)

Maybe it was one of the boys???

Just kidding...

It might be a good idea to pull up a credit report on yourselves just to make sure that there is no unusual activity. It's free!

I've done it. It's easy and good!

I am stumped.

Give it to the swede, you know, as a "gift".

Amateurs for sure. They could have done a lot worse. Happened to me last year when they ran our debit card up $300 for a cell phone.
