I'm just about done

TMS and I were recently discussing our blogs. I think I'm just about ready to give mine up. Originally, I thought it would be a great outlet for the writer in me. In reality, I think it's difficult to find the time, think of a topic and be (kind of) clever. Trying to be amusing is especially difficult because I'm chronically tired and/or my mind is elsewhere. I realize that I've ended up with a pretty boring blog. This is confirmed by how little responses I get. I know in order to get comments, you've got to browse and comment on others blogs, but I ask you this: Who has the time to do all of that? I think the novelty has worn off and now it has become a little bit of a bother. I also think it is so easy to waste valueable time on the computer when I should be spending my time doing something more constructive. All in all, I've come to the conclusion that there is very little good that has come out of my blog. Two good things, however, have been my blog pals from MO and staying up to date on TBFs lives. I'll keep checking in with you guys, I just don't have the desire to keep posting.

I hope that one of you actually logs on to see that I'm no longer posting. : )

I think giving up your blog is a very good idea. No...wait...that's the old TBF...
Just blog every now and then when you think of something strange to blog about. Shouldn't be too hard.
No...wait...
Or, you can just leave comments, and...push TMS to blog more.

I will miss you too. I enjoy reading your blog. I seldom log on to the computer without looking to see if anything new has happened.......and just when I am getting Becca and Chad back in.

I think you should continue to blog as I always enjoy them and I love you.

You're giving up? That's so sad! You have a great blog- fun and entertaining and so much more down to earth than some of them. I agree that you should keep posting when you feel like it. Give us the highlights at least!

TMS thinks this is a desperate attempt for attention. He has compared it to a spoiled child storming upstairs because they're angry. He also compared it to running away from home.

So back by popluar demand! (kidding.)

Seriously, I go through these guilt trip moments where I know my time is better spent doing something constructive. For example, TMS and I are on the computer on and off throughout the day. These visits probably add up to a good portion of time. However, we are forever complaining about not having enough time to get stuff done. We never have enough time to sit and discuss things with one another. We can't seem to find 15 minutes a day to do flashcards with the kids. So, for now, the good mom in me is choosing to spend my time more wisely.

Thanks for the kind words.

TSK...I agree with TMS, I'm sorry to say! Not that I am one to talk since I haven't blogged in weeks. However, I do read your blog and I enjoy it. I think the solution is for you to be more organised about blogging. For example, you should schedule yourself to blog and only when the kids are at school. That way, you don't take time away from them. And, while you're at it, why not just schedule time to blog every 3 or 4 days. Then, the ideas will build up and your blog will be interesting, by your standard, even though I always find it interesting. Lastly, I view your blog as a way for me to get a dog fix since TBF won't let us get another dog. Photos of Zoe and Scout will always amuse me.
PS - I know I spell differently because I adapted to the European spelling of words with Zs in them like organize/organise...so pls don't start correcting my spelling again.

Mrs. TBF, I am sorry, but I will not accept your European spelling. I will not comment on it, but I WILL NOT accept it. You are an American and you realize it because you mentioned it. So do not say you have adapted. Say it loud say it proud!

Mrs. TBF-
Perhaps you're right. I should blog once a week on a scheduled day. Since putting in writing the fact that I don't want to post anymore, I realise (hee-hee) that I maybe do still want to post. My dilemma is now that I've said no, it's going to seem silly to start again. Maybe TMS is onto something with his analogy that I've run screaming out of the room only in hopes that someone would chase me down and beg me to come back.

Aw, what the heck. I have no pride.

I find the fact that Mrs. TBF uses British spelling very odd since "American" English is the official business language at her company. I guess it has something to do with all the e-mails she receives from her British boss.
What a KNOB! I'm GOBSMACKED!!
