The Point Is...

I need to get back on track.

I admire TBF and OTJ who changed their lifestyles and have managed to stick with the point system. I started counting points in January. Having lost about 15 pounds since I started, I am now within 1-3 pounds of my goal weight. The problem is, I've been in this range for a month. I just can't seem to stay on the plan.

I'm turning to you two for support and advice to make a permanent healthy change to my eating.

Fifteen pounds is great. Sometimes people get stuck in a rut, and the last couple of pounds are the most difficult to lose.
Do you go to the WW meetings? That might help. I've just done it on my own, but the meetings and weigh-in seemed to help my mother and my sister.
Also, have you been exercising?

I have been doing WW Online with a friend. A male friend who gets over twice as many points a day and has lost twice as much weight! Ah, mid-life as a woman...it's unfair.

I am sure I could lose more if I didn't cheat. I can't seem to stay on the plan. I'm like a food addict. I wish I could regain the enthusiasm I had a few months ago.

Great Job!!!!!!

I'm never a huge proponent of exercise, and I do my best to avoid the gym as much as possible....but with the nice weather - go for a walk!

After 15 lbs the last 3 should be a snap for you. Keep working hard and I'm sure they'll be gone in no time. I am glad you are back to posting, I missed reading your blog. I hope you are well.

15 lbs!? That is wonderful. When my sister got engaged in December I thought..."6 months to lose 20 lbs". I have been on a "diet" for 6 months now and have lost 0 lbs. Okay, Okay....maybe I cheat. But still, I obsess about everything I put in my mouth. Now I have 3 weeks until the wedding and the dreaded strapless dress.

Oh well, I will just make the bride look that much better.
