It takes all kinds...

While waiting in the return line at TJ Maxx recently, I noticed that the line wasn't moving due to the fact that all the service desk employees were gathered around one woman at the front of the line. They were discussing what to do with her return. The more I listened, the more interested I became. She had a bag full of frames. I'm not talking a small bag -- or even a medium bag for that matter. She had a full-size TJ Maxx mega-bag completely full of frames and was trying to return them all. Weird, yes, but why, I asked myself, would this require all the customer service personnel huddling together to decide if she could return them? Then finally, I got my answer. She told them the frames were old. She said they had been in her storage space for 17 YEARS!! Weirder yet, they actually took them back. As my sister often reminds me, it takes all kinds....

How were they ever able to settle on a return price?
