Scout is in the animal hospital. She is VERY sick. She ate something that is stuck in her intestines. She's been vomiting since Monday night and is very dehydrated. She may have already begun kidney failure, etc. in which case she could die. Best case scenario is that she gets re-hydrated, passes the object and makes a full recovery. However, that is highly unlikely. The most likely scenario is that her blood work will come back okay but she will need surgery to remove the object. She will also be spayed at that time which she was scheduled to have done next Wed. anyway.
I'm really worried as is The Swede. The boys don't know how serious this is.
Please say a little prayer for our sweet puppy.

Oh, no. That is just awful. So sorry!
She is okay! We got the call and she had a rope bone knot removed from her intestine. Fortunately they did not have to cut her intestine. They opened her stomach,massaged the foreign object thru and removed the object thru her rectum with a forceps.
I am so glad to hear she is ok. I know how those little pups have a way of getting into your heart AND family.
Oh.....that's good news....
We're glad to hear that the little baby is ok. She'll be up and "wrasslin" with Uncle TBF agan in no time (I'm shooting for being back in Chicago from April 18 - 25).
