I am picturing him now, the uncle I see when I think of him. Physically stronger, healthier, younger. Happy again, no longer suffering.
He brought a good deal of joy to my life. I wish everyone could know his kindness.
I am a blessed to have been part of his life.
Until we meet again, Uncle T...

God Speed Uncle T, I'm sure you'll be missed by your family. Prayers and sympathies to you and your family Sour Kraut.
I'm so sorry you've lost your beloved Uncle.
I will pray for you and your family.
I feel like stuff like this causes you to pause and take stock in your own life and mortality
It's best that you remember them when they were enjoying life......
My mum passed away from Cancer last year and I KNOW that she was in pain, especially from stories people told me who lived nearby (she was in the UK and I live here in the US). I remembered her in a good happy way when I went to visit her last and we took a week off and just went travelling, and I remembered all the fun stuff we did and the laughs etc.,
I'm sorry for your loss.....
I'm finally catching up on blogs right now, and I just read about your uncle. I'm very sorry about your loss. I've lost a few uncles over the past couple of years, and I found that it caused me to think of the mortality of my parents and how I should try to see them, talk to them, and be with them more often.
I'm so sorry TSK.
I'm so sorry!
Sorry for your loss. He sounded like a great man.
Is everything OK? It has been awhile since we have heard from you.
