I'm back

Whew! I'm back from the most exhausting week of my year. Three quaters of our family have their birthdays within one week of each other, not to mention Mother's Day is thrown in there as well. I have eaten more cake than I can stomach (not really, I had to stop myself from having a second helping each time -- my way of dieting, you know.) Anyway, I realize I have neglected my blog lately and I will try to be better from now on.

This is the first morning in I don't know how long that the house is quiet and I am not rushing to get work done. It's a good feeling. I am sitting here on a beautiful, sunny, spring day listening to Al Green's Let's Stay Together (one of my all-time favorite songs) on my new Nano (gift from TMS). My gifts to TMS just didn't compare. He received a George Foreman grilling machine (really a gift for myself), a tennis racquet (our new sport?), and a Nike golf hat. BTW, I am realizing it is hard for me to think, write and listen to music. (currently paying: Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye - another favorite)

And, just like that, my relaxing morning is over. Phone ringing, sister on her way over. Gotta go! (currently playing: Me and Mrs. Jones)

Hey...your layout has changed since I was there a few weeks ago! What gives?

we had a great twin b-day. I have returned the George Foreman grill as it was not what I thought it would be. Very small. Going to shop for a regular grill for the backyard. The one we have now is very substandard.

TSK - I can't believe you were listening to Marvin Gaye "let's get it on". High Fidelity was on our satellite last night and that song is heavily featured! It's a John Cusack movie...is he still on your list? He's dropped off mine.

Go to Home Depot and buy the Weber Genesis. Get the one with the side burner. I think it'll cost you about $550.
The side burner will be great for boiling pots of water for corn on the cob, out door stir-fry, plus a million other things. Don't wimp out...get the one with the side burner. If you don't...you'll be sorry!

I saw a great grill for TMS but it was $1899.00. Yikes! The $550. Weber Genesis sounds great.

TBF do you prefer the old layout? I like change. Look for a new layout to come soon.

TMS thank you for removing my accidental double post.
