Lucky us

I thought perhaps I had been posting too much lately about our new puppy, Scout. When you only have two readers, chances aren't as good that they may be into dogs like TMS and I are, so I backed off. Today, I can't help myself. I must post about our pooches. They're so cute!

TMS and I were discussing this morning whether or not the new puppy is sweeter than our older dog. We are reluctantly admitting that maybe she is. Now don't get me wrong, our older dog, Zoe, is super sweet. We've often said Zoe is the best dog--ever. Then along came Scout. We saw one picture of her over the internet (not even a good picture at that) and we called the breeder and bought her. What a stroke of luck we had. She is so cuddly and sweet. She is definitely not as cute as Zoe, but as sweet? I think maybe even sweeter. She loves to be petted. When she does, the boys say she has fainted because she can't be petted and stay upright. She slowly slides down until she's flat on her back exposing her tummy. Each night she jumps on the couch and cuddles up on top of me. I allow this because she is only little for awhile and I need to soak it all up while I can. She listens pretty well when corrected, she walks well on a leash, she knows how to sit and stay. We had barely any hand in this at all. She's just a calm, good-natured dog. For as much searching as I did for our new puppy, I ended up getting one that I didn't research all that much. We got really, really lucky with this one. Even Zoe likes her.
