This is certainly a case of a picture saying 1000 words. Words can't do this visual justice. This is what home highlighting looks like.

At some point when I am pulling my hair through the cap, I look like Cookie the Clown from Bozo.

Worse yet, you wrap it all up in a plastic bag for an hour.
During my processing hour, our dog got out of our house. I was worried that she may wander the neighborhood and wanted her back inside but I didn't dare leave the house with that contraption on my head.
I stayed inside and took my chances that the dog would come back.
I started to wonder what sort of emergency it would take to get me to leave the house like that. Obviously, our dog's safety wasn't worth it.

Oh cmon, no pictures of yourself? did the dog at least get home ok? Poor Zoe.
She always comes back, it's that I don't know where she goes while she's gone that worries me.
An actual photo of me in my cap...NEVER!!!
And to think that I thought the highlights were all natural!
I do have natural highlights. It's just that they're gray.
Another thing we have in common - I color my own hair too.
Beauty hurts don't it?
We have got to get on the same schedule, Michael. That way, we can do each others hair!
