There is no more contented feeling for me than to have my family at home. Despite all the bickering, this really is what brings me peace.
Time to hit the 'unpause' button and resume the normal routine.
They're all back to school and work. Next to me sits my list of chores for the day.
It is so quiet.
I miss them.

I think I can...I think I can... I'm working on a few small projects to keep me occupied. Built a cabinet for the area above the fridge, now going to install crown moulding in the kitchen.

Organized the Christmas storage totes. Whew!
miss you too
I'm working on fitting back in some pants I have...
I, too, love having the kids home. However, departing from the routine we have been accustomed to really gets me out of whack.
The house isn't as clean, I stray from my diet and completely lose ambition.
Since the first of the year the kids have missed 5 days of school due to snow. I, in turn, have lost 4 lbs, gained 4 lbs, lost 4 lbs and gained 2 lbs.
Something has got to give....
