The golf season is here

For Christmas, I gave TMS a PlayTV golf game so all winter long I've been playing an electronic version of golf in our family room. I've actually done quite well at it and I think that, with so much practice, my game must be perfected and by now my swing must be in perfect form. I just know this season I'm going to have mastered the actual game as I have this TV version.

As of last weekend, the golf course is officially open. I was so excited to get out and play on an actual course. I suffered through the windy, gloomy 50 degree weather to get in my first game of the season. I had so many layers on that I could hardly move. Maybe that explains my high score of 53. Now 53 might not seem so bad until I mention that I played a 9-hole, par-three course. By the second hole, I had to borrow a ball from my friend because I had lost all of mine in the water. My nose was dripping, my hands stiff (not to mention my back and hips), my ear aching from the wind. Frankly, not as enjoyable as I had hoped. Wish me luck next week.

I'm not sure...but I think you're becoming a lesbian.

If you could see the way I'm dressed right now, it would really convince you. Baseball hat, hooded sweatshirt, jeans...the only thing missing are the work boots.

By the way...I like your photo. Does that make me a lesbian too? Are you thinking of buying a toyota celica? I must say, your blog is coming along nicely. TBF may actually link you to ours and then you'll have loads of people commenting...but then the pressure's on.

I'm not sure I want to be linked. I like that you, Tim, Bob and my sister, Celeste are the only people reading my blogs.

Are Toyota Celicas gay cars? I've always admired the Celica convertible. I thought just Subarus were gay cars.

These comments in no way should indicate a dislike for the gay community.

It's the Toyota Tercel, not the Celica.

I have never heard that about Tercels? I have only heard of Subarus being the rug munching car of choice.

The tercel (or is it turcel) was the predecessor to the Subaru. I'm almost certain it's a fact I learned on Steve Dahl's show.
