Eewww...

There's trouble in Pleasantville.

Our new home has been invaded by gargantuan freaks from hell that scare the shit out of me.

These hideous creatures share our new home with us. They are unwelcomed guests. If you're courageous enough to click on the link, be sure to scroll down to the photo with the pea, or "Bob". I'm not talking about the harmless thing at the top with the rocks. No, no, no. I'm talking about that furry-looking-spawn-of-satan-bug further down in the list.

I've seen these bugs before. They were in the house I grew up in. In our old house, the one we just moved out of, we didn't have any. We did, however, have wolf spiders who were so big, they could've used their own bedroom in the house. If there's any indication of how much I despise these house centipedes, it's that I would actually prefer to share my home with the wolf spider.

Our 7-year-old was playing in the boys playroom located in the basement. He calmly came up and told me there was a bug in the room. I hadn't braced myself for the sheer horror of seeing one of these monsters again after all these years.

No way was I killing that thing.

I got The Swede. He has no fear of bugs. He never leaves to grab a tissue for fear he'll lose the bug and choses instead to use his bare hands as his weapon of death. He swatted at this thing, killed it and came upstairs proclaiming that, although he is not afraid of bugs, he can completely understand why I fear this one.

I found another one last night just before bed.

Now I'm really itchy.

Oh boy it begins. The wife "hates" bugs also and we have something similiar in our old house. The wife gets a cup and covers them and waits for me to come home and says, I have something waiting for you in the living room. it's a bug. show some backbone...HA HA HA :)

Just so everyone knows, I not only have to kill them, but show them dead. That is primarily why I use my bare hand.

That and I'm a friggin' stud!

Oh.....

I think that I, too, would prefer the wolf spider.

I have never seen one of those before. Scary!

Ugh...I hate bugs...I took a nap last week and was some how startled awake, all I saw was a spider out of the corner of my eye and I was wide awake.

Is it too late to move again? Have you already unpacked everything?
