What a Croc

Am I the only one who HATES Crocs? Those obnoxious, plastic, yes, plastic, brightly-colored, stupid-ass shoes? I can almost understand them for kids. Heck, they're attracted to anything bright and shiny. But adults?? Haven't we learned anything from our past bad trends? Leg warmers, large geometric-shaped earrings, banana clips, scrunchies...Let me tell you, someday these ugly shoes will be seen as one huge fashion faux pas. Just remember, you heard it here first.

Sweetheart! Such language....

That's not nearly as bad as "the forbidden" word I used earlier.

So that's what those things are called...
I saw a zillion of 'em hanging on a rack at Sports Authority when I was last in Chicago. I did find the colors appealing, but I couldn't think of any appropriate situation for wearing them.
BTW...I've heard that leg warmers are coming back in style.

Leggings are coming back too...God help us.

I actually like the Crocs. I also like leg warmers. Of course, " I'm a maniac, maniac on the floor...."

"dancin' like I've never danced before...."

I agree...they are hideous. But everyone says they are comfortable. Even my 3 year old daughter was not fooled by the bright colors....My sister offered to buy her some...no strings attached...and she said "no, thanks."

They are very ugly.

On another topic...I am very much looking forward to your vacation photos from your upcoming trip.

Well, it's not going to be an exciting trip like last year so I'm not sure if we'll have any good photos. We will have to take photos of us sneaking Zoe into the resort and possibly some more it we get kicked out for having a forbidden pet on the premises.

One more comment on the Crocs: My manager recently discovered these heinous things and just fell in love with them. So much so that he bought a pair for each of us girls. Of course, we all had to act thrilled and even pose for pictures with all of us wearing them. So there is evidence out there that yes, I wore Crocs. But it was just that once, I swear!
