I like that we can now say "the dogs". "TMS can you call the dogs outside?" "TMS, let's take the dogs on a walk." For some silly reason, I think it's cute.
In general, Zoe has accepted Scout well. She had a minor setback last night when TMS was out of the house. I swear I think Zoe was jealous or being protective of me or something like that. She snapped at Scout then chased her and snapped again. Poor little Scout was so scared she ran to the corner and whined. It will be interesting to see if Zoe's behavior changes next week when TMS is back at work. (TMS has been home all week having taken some time off between his old and new job.)
It breaks my heart when I want to take Scout out for a walk that I know will be too long and too much for Zoe and her weaker legs. While I call for Scout to come out, Zoe looks up with a hopeful look in her big, sad, doe eyes. I have to tell her, "Not this time, PU." She is still my #1 girl.
