I've Lost My Lifeline
Our cute little puppy, Scout, has chewed through the power cord of my laptop. TMS saved a lot of money by ordering a new one on ebay. The problem? After the purchase, he found out that it takes 8 business days for delivery. What?? 8 days?? Now I'm forced to turn it on only when necessary to conserve what little battery power I have left. I feel like I've been cut off from the outside world. 3 days left and counting....

Can't you just use your desktop? How expensive is a power cord? I guess we're lucky that King only has about five teeth left, so chewing through just about anything is not a worry.
Problem solved, the code has arrived.
Yes, I could use my desktop, but that's all the way in the other room.
The power cord is $80 at the Apple Store and it was $15 online. Granted, it is a dorky, PC-looking power cord, not the cool, sleek, Mac power cord, but still the price was right.
I'm surprised that Scout has any teeth left. She has imbedded them into our skin many, many times.
